Our Opticians

Sharon Pearse is the managing optician for the Optical Boutique at Adler Eye Associates. She has devoted 30 years to the optical industry and over 20 years in optical management. Most of her experience was acquired in the N.C. Coastal area managing optical shops for ophthalmology clinics, the Marine Corps' exchange and her own independent optical boutique. Previous to joining the practice, Sharon worked at Duke Eye Center.

Sharon has served on the executive boards of the N.C. Optician's Association, the N.C. State Board of Opticians, Carteret County's Friends of Hospice, Domestic Violence Program and P.A.G.E. organizations.

She loves getting to know her customers and utilizing her optical skills to enhance their appearance and lifestyle. "The correct eyewear makes a tremendous impact on ones self-esteem and performance" and each individual is a new challenge.
